Kate grew up in Plainfield, New Hampshire and worked for Outward Bound for many years before attending vet school. After graduating from Cornell University in 2002, she worked at a bovine and small animal clinic in western New York. She joined the Riverbend team upon returning back to the Upper Valley in 2005. She is involved in various school and community activities and enjoys gardening, hiking, and running. Kate transitioned into ownership of Riverbend in January of 2020.
