Associate Veterinarian - Mixed Animal

We are excited to welcome applications for a mixed animal practitioner to join our team. This position will involve a mix of large animal ambulatory calls and attending to dogs and cats at our clinic in Plainfield. Our mixed practice is split approximately 50:50 between large and small animal practice. Ambulatory calls are approximately 70% equine. We encourage pursuit of special interests and have some flexibility in terms of species focus.

 

The FT position includes a 4 day work week, shared large animal emergency duties, paid vacation, holidays and sick time, health insurance, liability insurance, 401K with employer contribution, license fees and AVMA dues, CE, etc. We provide ambulatory vehicles, phone for clinic use, and all equipment needed. We have full in-house lab capabilities: blood work, urinalysis, fecal analysis, culture and sensitivity. We have mobile ultrasound units, computed in house and mobile radiography, digital dental x-ray, 1 meter fiber optic endoscope, and electronic medical records. Our technicians are well versed in all aspects of clinic operations and readily provide excellent support.

 

The successful applicant is an open and positive thinker, enjoys working with people, and is committed to life long learning. They must hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine or its equivalent, and are licensed/license eligible to practice in NH and VT.
